Positive and motivating piano lessons for beginning through advanced students of
all ages.
Private or group piano lessons are offered in Karin Amann's home studio located near
downtown Placerville, CA. Serving the entire region, including Pollock Pines, Camino,
Pleasant Valley, Mosquito, Coloma, Shingle Springs, and Cameron Park.
Placerville Piano Lessons is an approved vendor for South Sutter Charter Schools (I.E.M.).
PRICING:
Most students take weekly 1/2 hour private lessons in my studio for $18.00 per lesson. Please
call for the current rates if you are looking for preschool or family group lessons, lessons in
your home, or for a custom schedule.
Monthly payment is due on the first lesson of each month. The student is also responsible for
the cost of all lesson books.
Make-up days (within the same week of a missed lesson) are generally available.
LESSON STRUCTURE:
Varies, depending on student. Generally includes the followings:
- Warm up and technical studies
- Basic lesson material (i.e., methods such as FJH and Discoveries for beginning young
students) - Personalized studies from Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary musical eras
- Student's choice (ragtime, jazz, showtunes, folk songs, Christmas, popular hits, etc.)
- Challenge piece (i.e., suitable for recital)
- Music theory
