Positive and motivating piano lessons for beginning through advanced students
of all ages.
Private or group piano lessons are offered in Karin Amann's home studio located
near downtown Placerville, CA.
Serving the Motherlode region: Pollock Pines, Camino, Coloma, Pleasant Valley,
Mosquito, Shingle Springs, and Cameron Park.
Placerville Piano Lessons is an approved vendor for South Sutter Charter Schools
and Visions in Education Charter School.
PRICING:
Most students take weekly 1/2 hour private lessons in my studio for $20.00 per
lesson. Please call for the current rates if you need group lessons or a custom schedule.
Monthly payment is due on the first lesson of each month.
Make-up days (within the same week of a missed lesson) are generally available.
LESSON STRUCTURE:
The lesson structure varies, depending on the student, but generally includes:
- Warm up and technical studies
- Basic lesson material (i.e., methods such as FJH and Discoveries)
- Baroque, Classical, Romantic, or Contemporary eras music
- Student's choice (ragtime, jazz, showtunes, popular hits, etc.)
- Challenge piece (i.e., suitable for recital)
- Music theory
